On 1.5 dCi and 1.3 TCe Clio, Megane, and Captur models, the EDC transmission can shudder on pull-away, jerk during gear changes, and develop mechatronic faults. We evaluate the clutch and mechatronic unit with computerized diagnostics.
On 1.5 dCi engines, excessive injector return fuel leakage, hard starting, idle vibration, and black smoke are a typical chronic problem. The injectors are tested and, when needed, replaced with proper coding.
On diesel 1.5 dCi engines, soot buildup leads to EGR valve clogging and turbo vane faults, causing power loss and a warning light. Performance is restored through cleaning or replacement.
On 1.3 TCe and 1.5 dCi engines, failing to replace the wet/standard timing belt on time causes severe engine damage. We recommend replacement as a complete kit according to mileage.
